“Addiction and Family Relationships: Coping, Not Concealing”

New York Center for Living is excited to partner with Origins Behavioral Healthcare to present, “Addiction and Family Relationships: Coping, Not Concealing”, presented by Connie Motley, M.ED., LPC-S, Executive Clinical Director of Origins Behavioral Healthcare.

Learn how to: 1. Understand what it means to describe addiction as a disease and how this is different from other types of substance use and abuse; 2. Discuss the impact of substance abuse and addiction on individuals and families; 3. Describe how families are systems and important ways that they can move towards positive function or “dysfunction”.

2 CEU’s are offered for the LMSW/LCSW & CASAC’s. A light breakfast will be provided.
