Evidence-based care

Therapies and Approaches for Technology and Cell Phone Addiction

Our IOP integrates a range of evidence-based therapies that address the psychological, emotional, and behavioral aspects of recovery. Treatment is always individualized and collaborative, guided by our experienced clinical team.

Core therapeutic modalities include:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) – Helps clients identify and change thought patterns that contribute to substance use and negative emotions.
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) – Teaches mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness.
  • Motivational Interviewing (MI) – Encourages clients to explore their own reasons for change and build motivation for recovery.
  • Exposure Therapy – Helps clients confront triggers and fears safely, reducing avoidance behaviors and building resilience.

Each client’s treatment plan also incorporates wellness and recovery activities, such as mindfulness, self-care practices, and community-based support.
