Dominick Marty, Life Coach & Peer Advocate
Dominick is a Life Coach and Peer Advocate at the New York Center for Living, where he assists in curating group therapy sessions and organizes group social outings.
With 7 years of experience as a full-time Recovery Coach and Companion, he has traveled the world helping clients overcome addiction, behavioral health challenges, and depression. Along with his work in the recovery world, he has been an active participant in his own recovery for over a decade and has studied various forms of recovery-based therapies, including but not limited to cognitive behavioral therapy, executive function, and relapse prevention.
Dominick recognizes that the origin story behind everyone’s entry into recovery is different and lasting recovery is never a one-size-fits-all equation. He believes meeting individuals where they are in their journey creates the necessary space for lasting change—and that curating solution-based dialogue in that space is the most important approach to building healthy, sustainable progress with clients.
