Simone Schultz, Clinical Director

Simone brings a strong foundation in clinical leadership, program development, and organizational strategy to her role as the Clinical Director. With extensive experience overseeing community mental health and substance use programs, she blends clinical expertise with a clear strategic vision to build systems that are both compassionate and operationally sound. Simone is known for her ability to balance big-picture goals with day-to-day realities, aligning organizational initiatives with client needs, staff well-being, and long-term sustainability. Her collaborative leadership style, grounded in transparency and integrity, has helped guide teams through complex challenges while maintaining a focus on quality of care and innovation.

Over the course of her career, Simone has led Article 31 and Article 32 clinics in forensic settings, working with individuals impacted by trauma, substance use, justice involvement, and chronic stress. She also has a longstanding commitment to mentoring emerging clinicians and fostering relationships built on trust, accountability, and clear professional boundaries. Whether she is supervising staff, consulting on difficult cases, or building new programs, Simone centers dignity, cultural responsiveness, and person-centered care, creating environments that support growth, healing, and meaningful change.

Simone is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Social Worker, and addiction professional with specialized experience in co-occurring disorders and trauma-informed care. She has developed and implemented clinical services across multiple levels of care, including outpatient mental health and substance use treatment, and has deep familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks that govern these settings. In addition to her leadership and clinical work, Simone is pursuing her Ph.D. in Social Welfare, focusing her research on improving mental health access and culturally competent care for high-stress professions such as first responders, further bridging the gap between research, policy, and practice.
