Cocaine Rehab Center
Summary: This article explains what to expect from an outpatient program and how these programs can help individuals looking for cocaine treatment.
Cocaine is the second most commonly used drug in unintentional overdose cases. It’s also the most commonly reported drug for emergency department visits. Since 2013, there’s been an average of three percent of adults throughout the city addicted to cocaine. Unfortunately, without the right treatment, nearly half of all unintentional overdose deaths in the city involve cocaine, meaning that the risks of not only addiction and subsequent mental health disorders but also overdose deaths become significantly higher without the right treatment.
Residents in the Bronx and Staten Island have some of the highest rates of cocaine-related overdose deaths. However, no matter where you reside throughout the state, finding the right care is possible with NY Center for Living.

Cocaine Addiction Rehab
Individuals who are struggling with an addiction to cocaine or crack cocaine generally have to start their recovery program with a detox. Detox is often affiliated with an inpatient residential program, the highest level of care. This helps the body to rid itself of any remaining toxins and allows clients to focus on their initial recovery.
However, after that, it’s best for clients to continue the support they receive through flexible outpatient programs. There are several levels of care provided under outpatient programs.
With these programs, individuals have the opportunity to participate in an intense level of care on a full-time schedule, every day of the week, helping to create structured support, especially during early transition out of an inpatient program.
From there, an IOP can provide several sessions each week, only a few hours per day. This more part-time program is best for individuals who are stable but still want consistent engagement, the opportunity to build their coping skills, and better manage symptoms. With this type of cocaine addiction rehab program, individuals get the opportunity to participate in both one-on-one and group therapy sessions, as well as incorporate family support and support group meetings.
Traditional outpatient programs provide less frequent visits, usually only a few hours per week, and instead of consisting of a combination of individual and group therapy, they tend to focus more on group therapy. This helps those clients who are still transitioning but in a much better place to maintain their accountability and peer support, staying connected during the time that is often associated with intense loneliness.
Duration
While each program meets for a different amount of time each day and week, the length of time associated with a cocaine rehab program is variable. We aim to ensure that our clients are able to make individual progress, and that means that the duration of a program can vary for those who have a more severe addiction, those who may have addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders, versus those who might be dealing with a relapse.
This flexible scheduling means that our clients are able to continue with their jobs, school, or other personal obligations while still participating in their cocaine rehab treatment program. Moreover, the ability to return home at the end of each session means that coping strategies taught during therapy sessions can be practiced in real time.
Costs
As a non-profit, our aim is to ensure that those in need are able to connect with the treatment that is best for them. By offering flexible outpatient programs, we are able to provide a service that is generally more affordable compared to inpatient treatment, with additional insurance verification services.
Our Levels of Care
What to Expect From Cocaine Rehab NYC
At NY Center for Living, our cocaine rehab center offers two levels of care: IOP and outpatient.
IOP Crack Cocaine Rehab
Our IOP cocaine addiction rehab is designed for young adults and adults. This program is a non-residential treatment option that enables our clients to attend structured therapy sessions with a schedule that can work around other responsibilities like professional obligations, school obligations, or family obligations.
This program provides around 9 hours per week of individual and group therapy sessions. At our facility, we offer qualified therapists who use a combination of therapies like motivational interviewing or cognitive behavioral therapy to provide custom care based on triggers, co-occurring disorders, and personal goals.
Teen Cocaine Rehab
Our adolescent cocaine addiction treatment offers a teen cocaine rehab program. This is designed as a flexible outpatient program for teens who are still in school. Owing to their other obligations, this program offers up to 6 hours per week of group therapy sessions with opportunities for peer support, support group meetings, and family support.
We aim to ensure that, as part of our cocaine rehabs New York based, parents and other family members develop a deeper understanding of things that can lead to cocaine addiction, what to look for during recovery, and how to support a teen who is undergoing cocaine rehab in NYC.
