Clinical Director Part time 10-15 hours a week 
Essential Functions:

  • Perform weekly individual supervision to all clinicians, including clinician chart compliance.
    Provide additional supervision as needed.    
  • Facilitate weekly clinical team meetings utilizing a case conference format addressing new clients, ongoing cases,
    and clinical program issues. 
  • Support current client caseloads during clinician vacation/absences. 
  • Provide ongoing assessment of client’s symptoms and response to treatment.  
  • Meets weekly with COO to review frequency of services to determine revenue. 
  • Perform OASAS approved training for staff. 
  • Promote NYCFL programs and services and strengthen partnerships. 
  • Ensure CEU application is current.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands. 
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects under pressure. 
  • Must have strong knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Outlook for calendar and email management. 
  • Knowledge of medical record documentation standards and use of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) 
  • Understanding diverse cultures and gender-specific issues and the ability to incorporate gender and culturally diverse groups into the organization. 
  • Understands the need to maintain appropriate confidentiality when interacting with patients, residents, families, visitors, referral sources and all other contacts. 
  • Exhibits excellent customer relation skills as evidenced by supportive and constructive communication with all contacts including coworkers, patients, residents, visitors, families, and referral sources. 
  • Advanced individual and group clinical supervision skills 
  • Knowledge of both didactic and experiential learning in providing professional development to clinicians and program staff

Education/Certifications:

  • Master’s degree in social work 
  • Licensure at an LMSW or LCSW level

Experience:

  • At least five (5) Years Post-master’s clinical practice experience in substance use setting serving culturally diverse population. 
  • Experience providing clinical services with substance use disorder and mental health diagnoses. 
  • (2) years of clinical supervision experience 
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records is required.
