Current Team Opportunities:
Primary Therapist
New York Center for Living (NCYFL) is seeking a licensed mental health therapist to join our multi-disciplinary treatment team to provide individual, group, and family therapy with adolescents, young adults, young professionals, and their families. Grounded in a family-centered and developmental model of assessment and treatment, we offer a wide spectrum of modalities for intervention. Services are provided both in-person and by telehealth. This full-time position provides ongoing clinical supervision, peer support, professional development, and offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
NYCFL is a private 501(c)3 outpatient treatment center providing a continuum of substance use and mental health services. Located in the heart of Manhattan, we provide a collegial and collaborative practice environment committed to the highest standards of clinical service.
Qualifications: The successful candidate will be an LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, Psy.D. or PhD level clinician with experience working with adolescents and young adults in a behavioral health setting. Prior experience in the field of substance abuse and experience treating adolescents or young adults with substance use is strongly preferred. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, and experience using EMR systems are also required.

Family Therapist – New York Center for Living, Inc. (two positions)

Therapist
Therapist positions are often available at the New York Center for Living, but we do ask that those who apply have a special interest in working with young adults and adolescents. Therapists play a vital role in the recovery process, and support clients constantly in outpatient care. If you are a Therapist with a special interest in adolescent mental health and substance abuse issues, don’t hesitate to reach out regarding potential employment.
Becoming a Support Worker
Support worker positions also play an essential part in the recovery process at the New York Center for Living, and any relevant certifications are an asset. For support workers who are particularly focused on issues of young adults and adolescents, contact the New York Center for Living if you believe you would prove valuable to our team.
Financial Roles
Financial roles related to accounting, admissions, and donations through the foundation are often needed at the New York Center for Living. Those who qualify for these roles must have the relevant certification and work experience, as well as intend to commit to the position for the long-term.
